Laser Update

Just a quick update on the status of our new Mitsubishi 4,000 watt laser; The laser itself, the 8-shelf material tower, and the automated loader/unloader have all been successfully assembled and are operational.

The engineering staff have been trained on Mitsubishi's state-of-the-art programming software and the laser operators are finishing up their training as we speak. We're still working on getting everyone used to the new machine as well as tying up a few loose ends and "dialing everything in".

We have run a couple of odd jobs through the new laser to help with training and, rest assured, this thing flies! We're all very excited about the possibilities this new equipment presents. We really think it's going to give us the kind of productivity boost that will show up on our customer's bottom line.

We should get our feet wet with full-scale production when we return from the July 4th holiday. Stay tuned for more updates once we're fully ramped up.
