History of Precision Machine Fabrication

Precision Machine Fabrication specializes in close tolerance sheet metal fabrication. We are a contract manufacturer, working with our customers’ designs to produce a custom part that fits their specific need. The products that we manufacture and industries with which we work range from large cabinets for telecommunications equipment to small brackets for home appliances. PMF started in 1978 with two employees working from a 1,000 square foot building, but over the past 30 years we have grown into a 100,000 square foot facility and employ around 70 people. While we’ve expanded over the years in order to meet the ever-changing needs of our traditional client base, we remain loyal to our roots by continuing to focus on personal service and deliver outstanding quality. New customers find that it’s this attention to detail and our ability to cater to their specific needs that places us ahead of the rest of the fabrication field.

  1979: Company founded; Original Building completed.

• 

  1982: Expansion of manufacturing and shipping facilities.

• 

  1984: Further expansion of manufacturing space. Administrative offices built.

• 

  1989: Paint shop added, bringing total square footage to 40,000.

• 

  1996: Separate 20,000 ft/sq warehouse built behind main facility.

• 

  1999: Warehouse expanded to 60,000 ft/sq, bringing total facility to 100,000 ft/sq.
